The North Cascades Concert Band (NCCB) is a community wind ensemble bringing the joy of live music to audiences across Western Washington and the Pacific Northwest. Comprised of dedicated volunteer musicians from throughout the region, NCCB performs a diverse mix of classical, contemporary, and popular concert band music.
Join us each Fall and Spring for our major seasonal concerts, and look for us at special community events and festivals throughout the year.

America the Beautiful
America the Beautiful invites audiences on a sweeping musical journey, from the spirited momentum of James Reese Europe’s Castles in Europe to the open-hearted lyricism of Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring, creating a vivid portrait of the American landscape in sound. The North Cascades Concert Band, under the direction of Peter Blau Ormsby, is joined by guest trumpet soloist Staff Sgt. James McAloon Jr. from The Presidents Own Marine Band, with additional guest artist Emily Jennings.
