America the Beautiful​

America the Beautiful invites audiences on a sweeping musical journey, from the spirited momentum of James Reese Europe’s Castles in Europe to the open-hearted lyricism of Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring, creating a vivid portrait of the American landscape in sound. The North Cascades Concert Band, under the direction of Peter Blau Ormsby, is joined by guest trumpet soloist Staff Sgt. James McAloon Jr. from The Presidents Own Marine Band, with additional guest artist Emily Jennings.

Anacortes High School’s Brodniak Hall 

Free admission. Donations are gratefully accepted.

The North Cascades Concert Band is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides educational opportunities for adults, students, and audiences through live music performances.
